Billing and Insurance

The decision to seek counseling/therapy is an important one. It is not only an investment of time and energy, but also of financial resources. Most importantly, it is an investment in yourself and your health.

West Maui Counseling Center accepts most private insurance plans. If your insurance is not on the list to the right, check to see if your health insurance carrier allows you to choose an out-of-network provider, as is the case with most PPO plans. WMCC can submit out of network claims for you, or provide you with a Superbill, a statement of services which will allow you to seek reimbursement from your insurance carrier. **Please bring a Visa/Mastercard with you and your insurance card to your first appointment. No exceptions. A credit card is kept on file and securely encrypted in your HIPAA compliant electronic medical record. Please request “automatic billing” with the front desk for auto charge of copays. Most patients prefer this convenience for weekly appointments.**
